Skip Blanks in MS Excel





The Skip blanks feature in Excel is used to copy a data range with blank cells and paste the data in other area without overwriting the existing data or values.
For this you have to :
>> Select the data range that you want to copy, press Ctrl + C to copy it.
>> select another range where you want to paste the data
>> Right click, choose Paste Special > Paste Special
Let's learn with example
Firstly, Select the range C2:C13. Then Right click and click copy
Now,
>> Select cell B2. Right click, and then click Paste Special.
>> Check Skip Blanks.
>> Click OK and the result will be :
All the data is copied to required range .
