Go to Eclipse

Click Help

click About Eclipse,

Click on Installation Details.

Then, click on Configuration, you can see information like -

Look at highlighted following information in screenshot >

-vm C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_51\bin\server\jvm.dll

So, now we know that eclipse is running on Java 8.
