Find java/JVM on which eclipse is running


In this tutorial we will learn how to find out eclipse version installed in your system


How to find java/JVM on which eclipse is running >
Go to Eclipse
Click Help

click About Eclipse,

Click on Installation Details.

Then, click on Configuration, you can see information like -
Look at highlighted following information in screenshot >
-vm
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_51\bin\server\jvm.dll

So, now we know that eclipse is running on Java 8.
